FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in design of test objects of open test sites for research and control of infrared systems of remote viewing. Target rod comprises working stroked elements (WSE) arranged at uniform underlying surface in the form of two identical group sets of m-various dimension types of n-stroked elements in each one, and one measuring stroked element (MSE). WSE is arranged in the form of rectangular frame with movable module, along whole length of which there are narrow alternating plates installed at the angle of 5-10 degrees to horizontal surface parallel to each other, having, accordingly, maximum and minimum values of radiation coefficients and shaping periodical structure with controlled integral coefficient of radiation in process of movable module motion. Metre of radiation temperatures difference and system of automatic control and maintenance of specified value of radiation temperatures difference in all WSE of target rod in specified limits are introduced.

EFFECT: improved validity of maintenance of specified value of temperatures difference between surrounding background and stroked elements of target rod in maximum possible dynamic range in case of various external conditions.
