FIELD: standard radar reflectors whose effective dissipation surface is known in measurements.

SUBSTANCE: proposed reflector that incorporates provision for re-distributing most of incident-wave energy in the background of clutter has two half-wave dipoles with commutated components inserted in center of each dipole and connected in phase opposition in series with conductor; these half-wave dipoles are disposed in parallel to one another and spaced quarter-wave distance apart along direction of incident wave propagation in its polarization plane.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of reflector.
