FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises measuring and recording the reference source equivalent temperature by atmospheric radiation in spectral band of one line of strong absorption and reference source temperature by contact gage, comparing the recorded temperatures and correcting the gain of measurement channel. Note here that ambient temperature is measured while gain correction is performed using the results of comparison between equivalent temperature of atmospheric absorption line and ambient temperature.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and stability of measurements.
