VIBROMOTOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2113050 C1

FIELD: piezoelectric engineering; precision displacement of working elements in adaptive optics and nanoelectronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: vibromotor has case, moving section, control voltage shaper, ferroelectric ceramic active element in the form of bar with cross-shaped section installed in case and coupled with moving section, with its planar surfaces carrying electrodes, as well as hold-down device. Control voltage shaper has selector switch, electronic switch, and resistor. The latter are interconnected in series and connected to inputs of selector switch and to ac power supply. Selector switch output and common point of electronic switch and resistor are connected to active element electrodes; selector switch control input is connected to control device output. EFFECT: improved reliability of solid- state vibromotor and provision for parallel operation of several vibromotors from one ac power supply. 3 dwg
