SOIL SLITTING IMPLEMENT Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: soil slitting implement has frame which carries knife-type post and burster points. The latter are made in form of rings with cutting edges on end faces. Knife-type post consists of two sides of equal thickness. Rings are formed by deformation of material of previously cut sides over arcs of circumference. Pairs of rings are mated through parts of sides and are arranged on post in mirror-like manner. Cutting edges of ring end faces are formed by sharpening external faces over lines of side cuts at angle of 15-18 degrees. Post is secured for re-placing in direction of movement and its rear edge is provided with additional blade with cutting edge. Bar point secured on lower cut of post can be installed in one of inclined positions. EFFECT: improved slitting of soil. 9 cl, 2 dwg
