FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely metal cutting machine tools and automatic lines. SUBSTANCE: turret head includes housing supporting rotary disc chuck with tool spindles, drive unit for axially moving and rotating said disc chuck, mechanism for fixing disc chuck, drive unit for rotating spindles including shaft mounted in said housing and kinematically connected with electric motor at one side and at other side - with spindle by means of gear wheel pair. Said housing and disc chuck have respectively outer and inner cone surfaces. Grooves with semicircular cross section are arranged along generatrices on said cone surfaces. Said mechanism for fixing disc chuck is in the form of rings stationary mounted in grooves of disc chuck and with possibility of motion - in grooves of housing. Number of pins is equal to that of tool spindles. Turret head is provided with additional cone gear wheel mounted on shaft of drive unit for rotating spindles with possibility of restricted axial motion and engagement with gear wheel of spindle.
