FIELD: manufacture of fittings; control of shut-off members in pipe line of large diameters. SUBSTANCE: drive has housing, rotation engine connected with screw of screw pair through reduction gear, link, slider and devices for braking the screw at extreme positions of slider. Housing is provided with two guide slots. Provision is made for engagement of slider journals with slots of link forks and slots of housing. Slider is provided with cylindrical cavity whose axis is perpendicular to axis of position of journals and axis of screw. Nut of screw pair is made in form of cylinder with axis perpendicular to axis of threaded hole. Nut is located in cavity of slider for relative turn and forming of axial play.
