FIELD: valving.
SUBSTANCE: universal wedge valve has hermetically sealed housing with a seat, lid, rotatable plate made of a wedge, and drive. The drive is made of a link-lever mechanism. The rotatable plate is suspended on the unmovable rotation axle and made integral with the link frame of the link-lever mechanism. One of the sides of the link frame is beveled at an angle providing the valve to be wedged.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
