FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: first switching transformer is connected to primary winding of transformer which generates switching current pulses. Secondary winding of transformer is connected through switching diode to capacitor of control circuit in order to generate capacitor control signal. Control signal is sent to second switching transistor which is connected to mains, for generation and stabilization of power supply voltage according pulse-width modulation of control signal. In operation mode first and second transistors work in bursts which are repeated with alternating current frequency (50 Hz). During intervals of switching current pulses in burst mode, pulse width and peak value of switching current are gradually increased according shape of oscillations in power supply voltage in order to achieve soft-start operations in sleeping mode during each burst.
