FIELD: converter engineering; on-board reconnaissance circuits. SUBSTANCE: resonance-tuned power converter incorporating provision for transmitting digital components of higher frequency throughout entire broad spectrum in signal approaching ideally rectangular waveform has dc-to-ac inverter with dc input and coil-connected output. Control circuit is designed to control change-over operations of converter; resonance-tuned capacitor is connected in parallel with dc input. Disconnecting diode functions to disconnect resonance-tuned capacitor from dc input when voltage across this capacitor exceeds that across dc input. Mentioned dc-to-ac inverter has resonance-tuned charge circuits, resonance-tuned discharge circuits, no-load circuits, and exponential charge circuits. Control circuit is set up for controlling amplitude and frequency components of rectangular wave signal by changing over converter circuit among mentioned types of circuits within single controlled change-over period during unipolar current pulse interval. Circuit also includes cut-off circuit set up for applying actually constant dc voltage across coil, its value being higher than voltage across dc input.
