FIELD: devices used for cleaning gases from solid particles, for example, cleaning flue gases of industrial boiler houses, cleaning of aspiration and technological effluents. SUBSTANCE: gas cleaning device includes housing, gas supply and discharge branch pipes, liquid discharge branch pipe, rotor made in form of screened drum and central perforated tube for delivery of sprinkling liquid which is mounted axially relative to rotor. Screened drum is made from end screened disks, inner and outer screened cylinders and radial screened partitions which are located between them and divide drum into sectors. Blind bent plates are secured on outer cylinder (every other sector) over radius equal to radius of outer cylinder with width equal to width of drum; length of plate over perimeter of drum is equal to height of gas supply and discharge branch pipes. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of gas cleaning through turbulization of gas flow by heavy pulsation; reduced hydraulic resistance due to use of contact members at low hydraulic resistance. 2 cl, 2 dwg
