FIELD: metallurgy of steel. SUBSTANCE: claimed strip steel comprises (wt %): 0.14- 0.22 carbon; 0.4-0.6 manganese; 0.00-0.17 silicon; up to 0.03 phosphorus; up to 0.04 sulfur; up to 0.3 chromium; up to 0.3 copper; up to 0.08 arsenic and the iron balance provided that 0.98 (Mn)+13.04 (P)+35.02 (S)= 0.392-2.155 where content of components is indicated in wt %. Besides, claimed strip steel further comprises nickel in amount of up to 0.3 wt %. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of semi product for profiling and lower labor expenditure for manufacturing bent profiles.
