FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for hot rolling of strip steel, predominantely with high content of manganese, with preset temperatures of rolling in specific intercage spaces of broad-strip mill, temperature of rolling end Tre and cooling rate Vcool after rolling. Roll temperature behind the sixth cage of mill for strips with thickness of h=4...6 mm is accepted as equal to 1,055...1,085°C and for strips with h=6.1...8.0 mm -1,045...1,075°C, Tre 865...895°C for h=4...6 mm and Tre=855...885°C for h=6.1...8.0 mm, and Vcool=5.9...7.7 degree/sec for strips of all thicknesses.
EFFECT: increase of plastic properties of hot rolled billet for dressing.
