FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction, operation and maintenance of motor roads. Device is made up of die in the form of two paired wheels installed on base motor vehicle. Die is movable in vertical direction under action of falling load and this affords possibility for testing load-bearing capacity of road pavements. Additionally installed on vibration-isolated bogie over longitudinal axis on frame is unit of gyroscopic sensors of geometric characteristics of road pavements. Device allows for determining strength and geometric parameters of motor roads with high accuracy and within wide ranges. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
