FIELD: construction of roadway covering. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with method there are conducted measurement of acceleration of automobile, of change of linear velocity of automobile movement, of covered distance and time of travel, angular velocity of turn or course angle, determination and correction of basis of reading with reference to plane, analysis of mentioned data with the aid of computer, determination of gradients of roadway covering in two different directions with respect to plane of horizon, output of calculated parameters to display of monitor of measurement-calculation complex in process of automobile travel in accordance with specified requirements. While determining gradients of profile of roadway covering in direction of automobile travel one finds acceleration value proportional to acceleration of gravity force and longitudinal gradient that is then corrected with allowance for change of length of circumference of automobile wheel during its running. When determining gradients of profile of roadway covering in direction transverse to direction of automobile travel one finds acceleration value proportional to acceleration of gravity force and gradient of profile in transverse direction that is later corrected with allowance for change of length of circumference of automobile wheel during its running.
