SUBSTANCE: method involves polishing fractured portion of sole by means of polishing wheel; working fractured portion by means of cutter having ribbed surface whose configuration coincides with that of polishing wheel working surface; filling fractured portion with insert undergone thermal treatment. Working surface of polishing wheel has thickness of 1.2 x 10^-2 m; side surface skew angle of 15 deg; height of skewed portion 10 10^-2 m.
