FIELD: instrumentation engineering; medicine. SUBSTANCE: optical head has light delivering and light receiving systems which represent stack of transparent plates made of organic glass, contacting one another and interconnected by side surfaces with reflecting layer applied to them. Distal ends of plates are combined into one common end-face surface. Proximate part of plate stack is separated into several parts. Central part is connected to radiator of light delivering system, and two extreme parts, to radiation receivers of light receiving system. Proximate ends of every part are combined into one surface without clearances. Optical head operation is as follows. Object (patient's skin) is illuminated by radiator of light delivering system through stack of plates, and diffusely reflected light flux gets through separated parts of plates to two radiation receivers operating on different wave lengths. Given optical head may be used in medical noninvasine for mass application. EFFECT: higher efficiency of article, reduced cost price. 3 cl, 3 dwg
