FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has extended body with lancet positioned in it. Lancet end is located inside body in spring-unloaded state. Trigger mechanism of device is designed to maintain lancet in completely moved-aside position and to displace lancet under the action of spring. It also makes lancet cutting end move instantaneously beyond body. Device is provided with cap for primary insulation of lancet cutting end. Cap moves lancet to cocked position. It is of extended form and made for separation from lancet by twisting. Lancet is provided with facility which prevents its rotation at least when lancet is moved aside. EFFECT: after being used, device becomes safe for transportation and liquidation automatically. 7 cl, 3 dwg
