SUBSTANCE: integral gauge includes perforator, electrochemical sensor and dipstick cartridge integrated within common modular package. Dipstick cartridge accommodates dipstick assembly applicable for electrochemical or photometric analysis of blood sample. Integrated analysis system automatically distributes and positions dipsticks close to puncture region, automatically transfers blood sample to dipstick from puncture region and automatically analyses blood sample after dipstick collects sample from puncture region.
EFFECT: simplified glucose monitoring, relieved pain and improved comfort of analysis.
