FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: disposable instrument for skin pricking has flexible fingers with evert ends. The instrument comes into action with pressing on a trigger lever. When it works, a spring makes a lancet to move forward, and the fingers are curved inside, as the ends are passed by ridges. The ends of the fingers contact with the ridges. If a user tries to push the lancet back to the cocked position, the fingers are locked and will curve, as the edges will press on the ridges. The ends will press on the ridges till the ends of the fingers enter the orifice.
EFFECT: cocked position is achieved.
