INJECTION METHOD AND DEVICE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61M5/315 A61M5/20

Abstract RU 2395306 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an injection device and, more specifically, to an injection device for automatic administration and various loads. A delivery device comprises a case to insert therein a drug container, a drive component, an integrated spring connected with the drive component, a metering head connected with said spring, a release element and a button pressed by the user. The drive component is integrated in the case to interact with said specified container and to move axially in the case. The metering head is turnable about the case so that its turn in the first direction leads to compression or involution of the spring. The release element is activated by the user and releases the spring to be moved by the drive component along the case. The button is coupled with the case and axially movable relative thereto. The button is connected with the spring to enable release or twist reduction of the springs, herewith avoiding a considerable motion of the drive component. According to the second version, the device comprises a storage spring which when released provides drug delivery from the mounted drug container, the metering head, the release element and the button pressed by the user. The metering head when turned in the first direction transfers the spring in the storage condition. The head can be fixed in various discrete positions corresponding to various drug dosages. The release element is activated by the user to release stored energy and deliver a drug from said container. button is used to reduce the energy stored in the spring by each pressing the button, herewith avoiding drug delivery from the drug container.

EFFECT: invention facilitates dosage modification.
