FIELD: medical facilities. SUBSTANCE: this device is intended for curing lateral flatness of front section of foot and can be used in traumatology and orthopedics for recreation of lateral arch of foot in conditions of regulated drawing-together of metatarsus bones. Orthopedic cuff is made up of flexible band. Sewn on ends of aforesaid flexible band at internal and external sides are appropriate stickers. Made on one end of band under sticker is pocket with hood (valve). Located in pocket is insert made of convex piece of semirigid plastic material. Perimeter of insert base is of egg-shaped configuration. Application of orthopedic cuff allows for restoration of lost lateral arch of foot, regulation of degree of drawing-together of metatarsus bones, shorter process of rehabilitation, retention of normal blood circulation in peripheral parts of foot in condition of growing oedema, and in certain case avoiding surgical operations.
