FIELD: medicine; orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: posture corrector has flexible cover-pate and straps with cuffs. With some ends straps are sewed onto cover-plate, and other ends of straps are passed through buckles secured to cover-plate which has concavities. It presses internal edges of shoulder blades and is fitted with springy stiffening ribs. Its plane (surface) adjacent to patient's back is provided with small vent holes. Posture corrector allows prophylaxis and treatment of vertebral column diseases (kyphosis, scoliosis, osteochondropathy) and posture disturbance at home and under clinical conditions. It makes it possible to prevent abrupt progressing of osteochondrosis in case of osteoporosis. EFFECT: reduced rheabilitation period. 6 dwg
