FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for use on high-rise smoke stacks as well as for other tall structures such as television towers, antenna masts, and others. Light-signal platform which is created by decking with guarding and brackets is additionally provided with metal strips for holding brackets on external surface of smoke stack with clamping device which is made in the form of screw pair connected with reduction unit. Mounted on shaft of reduction unit is freewheeling clutch with bimetal strips and torque-limiting clutch. Light-signal platform is reliably fastened to smoke stack surface at any given level with possibility of its movement along stack to any height without inflicting any damage to stack surface.
