FIELD: repair and updating of tall industrial chimneys. SUBSTANCE: method of repair and reconstruction of tall industrial chimneys includes mounting of equipment, complete or partial disassembly of lining, reinforcement of chimney shaft, internal finishing of surface of chimney shaft, disassembly of equipment. Assembly is started from erection of scaffolding at upper signal light platform which is used to mount bearing frame across edge of chimney shaft, working platform is suspended from it and is used to take lining to pieces gradually going downwards. In the course of this process fillings in chimney shaft are restored in points where they were located during erection of chimney shaft. Upon completion of taking lining to pieces mine hoist with hoisting gear is installed, working platform is suspended from it and is employed to conduct reinforcement operations of internal surface of chimney shaft. As altitude of mine hoist grows it is attached by flexible couplings to fillings restored in process of taking lining to pieces. Mine hoist is gradually lifted to edge of chimney and dismantling of chimney shaft is started from same platform gradually going down to height of chimney where strong concrete is. On completion of this stage outside boards of forms are suspended from working platform, forms are centered , inside boards of forms are installed and restoration of chimney shaft is begun to design mark with little by little lift of working platform by hoisting gear along mine hoist. On reaching design mark mine hoist is dismounted. With this in mind hoisting gear is lowered stage by stage and finishing operations in chimney shaft are conducted at same time, flexible couplings attaching mine hoist to chimney are removed and complete disassembly of remaining equipment is finished at the bottom. Description also characterizes partial disassembly of chimney shaft during its reconstruction. EFFECT: potential for complex repair or reconstruction of chimney to full extent, raised safety of operations, diminished labor input, raised quality of operations, employment of equipment used in erection of chimney for repair, reconstruction and partial disassembly of chimney shaft. 2 cl, 5 dwg
