FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: traveling platform for repair and erection of high-altitude smoke stacks, comprises bearing metal structures and flooring. Moreover, it is formed by separate rectilinear sections, which contain bearing metal structures and flooring, which are hingedly fixed to each other into polygonal system that embraces stack on external side, at that every rectilinear section at its one end is provided with hingedly fixed guide frame installed under this end, at that at every such end of rectilinear section drive is installed for horizontal displacement of section, which forms synchronous system for realisation of horizontal displacement of all sections for device of controlled polygon, at that rectilinear sections also contain synchronised drives of platform vertical displacement, which are located in places of guide frames installation.
EFFECT: lower labour expenditures during platform displacement in vertical direction and lower expenditures in case of platform dimensions variation in plan.
