FIELD: development, manufacture, testing and operation of compressors, pipelines and cylinders operating under pressure. SUBSTANCE: gas is fed to cylinder through check valve with seat and moving gate. Valve gate is mounted for longitudinal displacement under effect of mass forces. Valve gate is arranged below or above seat depending on presence or absence of necessity for subsequent bleeding of gas from cylinder. The proposed invention provides for manufacture and testing of constructionally simple and small-sized cylinders of low, high and super-high operating pressure. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
