SUBSTANCE: ac voltage regulator has transformer one of whose windings has main and regulating parts; switching unit is connected to one of taps of regulating part and also to reactor and to transformer lead; according to invention, additional switching unit similar to main one is connected to extreme tap of regulating part as well as to main switching unit and to transformer lead; reactor is inserted in central tap circuit of regulating part.
