SUBSTANCE: in device for control of AC voltage, which contains transformer with sectional winding, the beginning of which is connected to supply main, one controlled reactor that is connected to winding tap, and one uncontrolled reactor that is connected to extreme tap of winding, at that ends of controlled and uncontrolled reactors are connected between each other, forming common point connected to supply main, it is suggested, according to the present invention, to introduce unit of uncontrolled reactor trip, which is connected parallel to uncontrolled reactor; at that unit of uncontrolled reactor trip may be arranged in the form of thyristor switch.

EFFECT: wide possibilities for voltage control in contact main and high operational and energy factors with relative simplicity of realisation.
