FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to converter equipment, and can be used for voltage control of converter transformers. To solve the task in the voltage control device comprising a transformer, one of its windings contains, in each phase, connected in series the main and adjusting parts, commutating nodes, each of which contains a thyristor key and is connected to a corresponding tap of the adjusting part having turns, it is proposed, according to the present invention, combine the commutating nodes into two groups in such a way that the first group is formed from the commutating nodes of the even taps, and the second group is made up of the commuting nodes of the odd taps, and each of the two groups connect to the start of one of the two additional thyristor keys, the ends of the additional thyristor keys connect to each other, forming a common point that is connected to the common points of additional thyristor keys of other phases, and connect an uncontrolled reactor to the additional thyristor key of the even group of each phase.

EFFECT: invention solves the problem of creating the voltage control device, characterized by high reliability due to the introduction of additional thyristor keys with an electromagnetic element, providing throttling or the possibility of a multistage deep voltage control.
