FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, production of clad corrosion-resistant steel and articles manufactured from this steel. SUBSTANCE: clad corrosion-resistant steel consists of base layer from carbon or low-alloyed steel and from at least one cladding layer from corrosion-resistant steel. Carbon content in steel of base layer amounts to 0.02-0.20%. Adhesive strength of layers is not less than that of steel of base layer. Ratio of thickness of cladding layer to total thickness of layers is determined depending on linear thermal expansion coefficient of steels of cladding and base layers by the relationship offered in the invention description. The base layer is made of carbon or low-alloyed steel containing carbon in the amount of 0.02-0.20%; silicon, 0.05-0.8%; manganese, 0.3-2.1% and one or several elements from the group including niobium in the amount of 0.005-01%; vanadium, 0.005-0.12% titanium, 0.006-0.8%; boron, 0.001-0.006%. The cladding layer is made of corrosion-resistant steel containing 5-20% of chromium and not more than 0.01% of sulfur. The article is manufactured from the above specified clad corrosion-resistant steel. EFFECT: higher resistance of articles manufactured from the offered steel to corrosion and mechanical effect due to high quality of joined layers of steel, their satisfactory weldability, strength, ductility and resistance to cold. 4 cl, 3 tbl
