FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: clad steel consists of a base layer made of low carbon high strength micro-alloyed steel, and a cladding layer made of corrosion-resistant high-alloyed austenitic-ferrite steel containing the following components, wt %: carbon 0.02-0.06, silicon 0.55-0.85, manganese 1.0-1.8, chromium 21.5-23.5, nickel 5.0-9.0, molybdenum, 2.5-3.5; nitrogen, 0.10-0.27; sulfur, no more than 0.005; phosphorus, no more than 0.020, vanadium no more than 0.06, titanium not more than 0.05, niobium not more than 0.05, aluminium not more than 0.05, calcium not more than 0.03, iron and unavoidable impurities-the rest. The cohesion strength of the basic and cladding layers of the clad steel is not less than 560 n/mm2.
EFFECT: increasing strength of clad steel as layered material, its corrosion resistance, in particular resistance to pitting corrosion in media containing chlorides, and strength of layers cohesion by preserving the level of plasticity and weldability.
