FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing plated clad steel includes producing a surface layer blank with corrosion-resistant steel and basic layer of carbon steel, and hot rolling of the blank. Heating the blank before hot rolling is carried out in temperature range from 1250 to 1300°C, cooling after rolling is carried out at rate of at least 7°C/c. The end temperature of accelerated cooling is not higher than 600°C, the blank is produced from steel with cladding layer of stainless steel with ferrite-martensite structure, containing, wt %: carbon 0.01-0.15, silicon 0.30-0.70, manganese 0.50-2.7, chromium 14-17, nickel 1.0-2.5, molybdenum 0.01-2.5, titanium 0.01-0.1, vanadium 0.01-0.1, niobium 0.01-0.1, nitrogen 0.1-0.3, phosphorus, 0.002-0.003; sulfur, no more than 0.005; iron and unavoidable impurities is the rest.
EFFECT: increase in strength and wear resistance of steel with cladding layer, reduction of production costs with preservation of high strength and continuity of joints of layers, plasticity of layered material, as well as high corrosion properties of cladding layer and base layer steel cold resistance.
