FIELD: organic technology, namely, production of monoolefins of hydrocarbon raw materials comprising one or more hydrocarbons of paraffin series and having at least two carbon atoms. SUBSTANCE: partially combustion of mixture of hydrocarbon raw materials together with molecular oxygen-containing gas is carried out by contact with catalyst which takes place in reaction chamber. Reaction chamber has such a construction due to which at least portion of reaction heat is transmitted to raw materials being fed, and rate of feeding of said raw materials is maintained at level being higher than combustion rate of raw materials mixture. According to proposed method both gaseous and liquid hydrocarbons of paraffin series are effectively converted due to their autothermal cracking. EFFECT: increased yield of olefin hydrocarbons. 13 cl, 3 tbl, 2 dwg
