FIELD: biotechnological methods. SUBSTANCE: method pays special attention to processing vegetable materials and makes it possible to perform extraction operation in absence of solvents to give extract with no solvent traces. Biological material is placed into chamber and pressure is reduced in discrete mode. Simultaneously, material is affected by microwave frequency field to form extractant and extracted product vapor mixture. Chamber is heated, preferably to 100 C. Heating, microwave frequency action, and reducing pressure are combined in such a way as to achieve hydrodistillation of product from biological material with water vapors. Microwave frequency is preferably 300 MHz. Power applied ranges from 100 to 10000 W per 1 kg of material. EFFECT: simplified process and improved consumer's quality of products. 8 cl, 7 dwg
