FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has supporting levers pivotally connected with their one end to axillary region support and with their other end to shoes supporting platform, supporting belts, and mechanism for retaining knee pivot joint with ratchet toothed gear. Retaining mechanism is kinematically connected with movable support. Two levers are mounted for axial motion. One lever is connected with supporting platform and other lever is pivotally connected with crutch. Retaining mechanism has cylindrical toothed ratchet wheel with inclined teeth on end and cylindrical slot with shaped axial opening in end part, immovable ratchet cylindrical wheel positioned on shield projections, coiled springs, radial bearing, cover, spindle cylindrical recess, pin, window, lever mounted on pin and passed through ring for free displacement in pivot joint end, and connected with retaining mechanism catch through cable. Longer arm of lever is connected through second cable by means of lever and tension mechanism with U-shaped clip movable within talocrural stirrup and cooperating with supporting platform (insole) of shoe. Shorter arm of lever is adapted for acting upon movable toothed wheel through pin and spring. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 6 dwg
