FIELD: cleaning of compressed air or gas. SUBSTANCE: cyclone body has upper shell with inlet pipe connection and tangential nozzle inlet and lower shell of larger diameter. Whirling chamber is formed by internal cavity of tangential nozzle inlet. Chamber-collector is positioned above tangential nozzle inlet. Acoustic oscillation receiver is arranged in area of minimum section of tangential nozzle inlet. Receiver is made as resonator cavity. It communicates with cavity of tangential nozzle inlet through narrow slit and has acoustic coupling with chamber-collector through opening made in wall. Openings made in wall couple chamber-collector with whirling chamber and have diameter and length which tune cyclone cavity to resonance with chamber-collector. Axial outlet pipe is coupled to wall and is capable of vertical motion. Receiver of acoustic oscillations has acoustic coupling with acoustic electrical transducer which is connected electrically in series with frequency wide-band filter, electric signal amplifier and electroacoustic transducer.
