FIELD: cutting of materials with use of high-pressure and high-speed jet of liquid. SUBSTANCE: liquid is supplied to nozzle arrangement. When liquid flows out it renders effect on material being cut. In addition, power is brought to jet and flow-out speed is raised. Abrasive metal is used as a liquid. It is irradiated, for example, by ionizer, and then melt flow is directed through accelerating device in which melt flow is accelerated by electrostatic field, for example, by system of electrodes. Flow rate is controlled. Gas or water flow is supplied additionally to place of abrasive interaction with material to be cut. EFFECT: higher efficiency of cutting process. 2 cl, 1 dwg
