FIELD: methods and devices for cleaning of plating bath electrodes. SUBSTANCE: method includes mechanical breakage of deposits on electrode surface, scaling and separation of broken deposits with subsequent straightening of electrode plates. The method is realized with the help of the device having at least one couple of cutting rolls, nozzles for supply of water jets under pressure and located above rolls, two straightening plates with flat opposite surfaces and means for suspension and lifting of electrodes between rolls, nozzles and plates. which may be provided with cutting grooves located on opposite sides.
