FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: sealing system of the rotor-piston engine with rotor planetary motion is made up of radial seal elements representing radial vanes spring-loaded towards the side covers. The said radial vanes represent separate independent thin plates moving both radially and sideways. The minimum number of plates is two. The aforesaid plates feature an unequal trapezoid cut with the smaller side furnished with a limiting ledge making a thrust surface for the cylindrical spring. Every following plate is turned through 180° relative to the previous one with respect to their crosswise axes. The angle of inclination of the aforesaid thrust surface makes 45° to the plate lower edge, while the opposite non-thrust lateral side features the angle smaller than 45°. The plates are made in heat- and wear-resistant material.

EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency of rotor top seal.
