SENSITIVE ELEMENT OF GYRO WITH ELECTRIC SUSPENSION OF ROTOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2116624 C1

FIELD: gyros with electric suspension of rotor. SUBSTANCE: rotor with contrast raster on its surface is placed inside ceramic vacuum chamber made up of two hemispheres joined on centering ring. Six optical windows, one on pole of each hemisphere and four in centering ring are mounted into chamber. Optical windows are connected through current conductive composition which layer embraces each window in the form of rings located on both face surfaces of each window. Electrodes in the form of metal film are deposited on internal surfaces of hemispheres and their parts are brought out into recesses in parting plane. Six metal diaphragms are arranged inside vacuum space of chamber in zones of optical windows, four of them are located in equatorial plane of ring of chamber and remaining two - on poles of hemispheres. Axes of holes of diaphragms form orthogonal optical trihedron which center is matched with center of electrodes of suspension of rotor. Diaphragms are positioned on ring current carrying layers of chamber. Elastic elements that contact parts of electrodes of hemispheres are put on them.
