FIELD: navigation. SUBSTANCE: process provides for formation of batch of hemispheres with allowance Δh - for outer diameter determined from condition Δh ≥ hп, where hэ and hп are thickness of walls of hemispheres in equatorial plane of joint and in zone of pole correspondingly, for measurement of height of each hemisphere with heating in temperature interval ΔTx, for determination of value of sag of pole under action of fixed load in region of elastic deformations and for completion of pair of hemispheres of rotor proceeding from fact that difference of specified values of absolute increment and sag does not exceed 10% for these hemispheres. Thus negative effect of degree of difference in thickness of walls of hemispheres, difference in coefficients of thermal expansion and anisotropy of elastic properties on precision of rotor is minimized which is important for both operations of welding of hemispheres and balancing of rotor and for functioning of rotor in suspension. EFFECT: simplified technology of manufacture and increased precision of rotor.
