FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure pressure of gases and their mixtures not containing condensing components. Hydrostatic-pressure vacuum gauge has converter which internal space is divided by measurement membrane 5 into two chambers measurement 12 and reference 11 ones, device changing volume of reference chamber 11 manufactured in the form of piston 7 connected to control system and shutting device 10 installed between measurement and reference chambers. Control system can be made in the form of permanent magnet 8 connected to piston 7 located inside solenoid coil 9. Shutting device 10 is fabricated in the form of valve or capillary. Measurement result is presented in the form of D.C. voltage. Usage of vacuum gauge provides for independence of measurements from kind of gas, for check of pressures of various gases corrosive ones included in any pressure range, for obtainment of linear dependence of output signal on measured pressure in any pressure range and does not require separate pumping system to create reference pressure. EFFECT: enhanced functional efficiency of vacuum gauge. 3 cl, 1 dwg
