FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying lateral access method to achieve the hip joint. Cicatricially changed capsule is dissected. Neck of the femur is crossed at the preselected level determined from X-ray picture. The femur head is removed with resected portion of the neck. Canal is drilled along the neck stump which diameter is to correspond to that of endoprosthesis casing 6. Casing 6 with neck 4 placed inside and screwed cylinder 7 with straps 14 and 15 are introduced into prepared bone bed. Thrust disk 8 is screwed over threaded end pin of casing 6 protruding from bone canal to achieve tight engagement with filed bone. Head 1 corresponding in size to cotyloid cavity is tightly set on the end of prosthesis neck 4. Stable fixation in recess 2 is achieved due to wedging with needle protrusion 3 of cruciform dissected end face of neck 4. Diaphyseal strap 14 and trochanteric strap 15 are placed on the corresponding sites of the femur. Hinges 12 and 13 are fixed and straps 14 and 15 are screwed to the bone with screws 16. Prosthesis head 1 is set into the cotyloid cavity. EFFECT: high stability of prosthesis fixation in bone tissue. 6 dwg
