FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has pedicles having buttress thread of different direction. The distal pedicle has head and the proximal one has recess with coupling nut holding the head in the recess. Adjustment rest members are mounted on the pedicles. Method for carrying out operation involves doing femur osteotomy 3-4 cm below the ankylosis level, introducing prosthesis pedicles into the corresponding bone fragments formed as a result of osteotomy and setting prosthesis head into the recess.
