FIELD: electric furnace equipment. SUBSTANCE: carbon objects are laid as parallel glow plugs between current contacts and are connected by bridges perpendicular to plug axes. Current contacts are laid onto coupled supplementary bridges. Graphite bridges for current contacts are placed loosely. Contact surfaces of current contacts and bridges are preliminarily mechanically converted. Graphite bridges are heated to graphitization temperature by electric current.
