FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: machine weighing powdery materials is designed to meter solid particles into flow of gas foe generation of dust and air flow necessary to test dust cleaning aids such as respirators and filters. It includes hopper with vertical shaft and drive housed inside it, agitator put on shaft that is manufactured in the form of horizontal members put on opposite ends of shaft which free ends are bent in parallel to walls of hopper. Machine also has horizontal members made from springy wire and positioned one from another equidistantly over entire length of shaft. Members put of one end of shaft are positioned with displacement equal to half of distance between adjacent members with reference to members put on the other end of shaft. Shaft is fitted with wire loop in the form rhomb put on lower end of shaft vertically and coaxially to it. Vertex of lower angle of rhomb is located at level of outlet hole of hopper. Machine provides for stable, reproducible feed of powders in the course of long time that is necessary for generation of dust and air flows used for test of dust cleaning aids. EFFECT: enhanced stability of operation of machine by increased uniformity of metering of powdery materials susceptible to aggregation including finely dispersed abrasive powders. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
