FIELD: systems of automatic control and regulation of parameters of technological processes. SUBSTANCE: method consists in formation of two sequences of standard pulses. Value of level of controlled medium depends on duration of standard pulses. Device for realization of method has two ultrasonic converters put on walls of measurement tube at base distance along line parallel to surface of liquid medium and signal processing circuit determining level of liquid medium.
