FIELD: metallurgy, usage of graphite coated electrode. SUBSTANCE: holes with stopping meltable plugs of each screwed electrode are matched with full screwing on with holes in end face of lower electrode forming cylindrical spaces where plugs melt and char into pins connecting butts of electrodes. Conditions for matching of two screwed on electrodes include equality of joined sizes for one hole taken from one base for each electrode, equidistant arrangement and symmetry of holes lying on equal circumferences.
