FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device measuring density of liquids has vessel for examined liquid and float with magnetic core placed into it. Float is located in field of electromagnet placed under vessel. Device also includes pickup of position of float and source of electric energy. Voltage-controlled current generator connected to electromagnet is employed as source of electric energy. Inductive pickup coupled to movement converter is used in the capacity of pickup of position. Vessel for examined liquid is fitted with thermostating jacket connected to thermostat. Temperature controller, current generator and resistance thermometer are connected to computer with the help of interface. Interface incorporates electronic commutator which controlling input is connected to decoder and converter. In addition interface has recorders and norming amplifiers. Outputs of electron commutator are connected to current generator, resistance thermometer and to one of norming amplifiers. Decoder is additionally connected to recorders and the latter are connected to converters in which capacities digital-to-analog converters which outputs are connected to norming amplifiers are used. Output of second norming amplifier is connected to temperature controller.
